Roulette is a popular and classic casino game that is easy to play and has an enthusiastic following in online gaming. Some European casinos have only a “0”. The numbers on the roulette wheel alternate pairs of odd numbers with pairs of even numbers. Both the 0 and 00 slots are green in color. You should always calculate your expectedloss and how long you can play on a given bankroll before playing any game, butwith roulette it's especially important. now, let's see how to play roulette. You don't have to make just one kind of bet foreach spin, you can make several, and you win if the ball lands on any of yournumbers. When the ball is gettingready to drop, the dealer will wave his hand over the table, which means "Nomore bets". Roulette chips can in fact be any denomination - $1, $5,$25, etc. For outside bets, any bet you make has to be the table minimum. Remember thatyou can bet inside or outside if you like; there's no requirement to bet both ona given spin. It most other games a bet usually wins only even money, butRoulette gives you the chance to win 35 times your bet (a winning bet placed ona single number) It's important tounderstand that the outcome of the roulette wheel is truly random. Here's another example: Since there are 38 slots on the wheel,we expect any given number to hit 1 out of 38 spins on average. There have been 152 spins (coincidentally,4 x 38), and so we expect that each number should have come up 4 times onaverage. The wheel has no memory. You can certainly switch toanother number if you want, but that won't improve or worsen your chances. Thechances of #27 coming up on a given spin are the same, whether it just come upon the last spin or not - 1 in 38. It's more important to know what the house edge is, than how to calculateit, but here's a quick analysis in case you're interested. On an American wheel,there are 38 spots - numbers 1-36, plus 0 and 00. European games have an option called en prison which reduces the house edgeto 1.35%, but it's generally not available in the U.S., even in casinos that usethe European wheel. Casino roulette uses the same basic rules and procedures in all casinos throughout the United States and Canada, as well as in the Caribbean and other island gaming resorts on the North American continent. One to six players are seated at the roulette table. The chips generally have a set value of 25 or 50 cents. Each game begins when the dealer (sometimes called croupier) spins the wheel in one direction, and then rolls a little ivory ball along the inner edge of the wheel in the opposite direction. As the wheel turns, the ball loses momentum. By design, they alternate between red and black and exactly opposite each other number is the corresponding higher and lower number.
