A clever player is one who understands the betting possibilities. American roulette wheels usually have both the “0” and “00” on the wheel. It most other games a bet usually wins only even money, butRoulette gives you the chance to win 35 times your bet (a winning bet placed ona single number) Here's ahandy way to remember the payouts when you're betting on a set of numbers: Take36 divided by the quantity of numbers you're betting on, and subtract 1. If Black hascome up for the last 10 spins in a row, the next spin is not more likely to beRed. On an American wheel,there are 38 spots - numbers 1-36, plus 0 and 00. If you play Roulette, the most important thing is to find a casino thatoffers the European wheel (which is called "Single 0" Roulette) Ifyou win the second spin, your bet is "released from prison" and youget it back. One to six players are seated at the roulette table. The dealer will specify the worth of that particular coloured chip by mating a sample chip which is placed upon the rim of the wheel. It is important to note that these roulette chips must be cashed in at the table. They may not be removed from the table when the player leaves. This area is referred to as the "inside" betting area. If that number wins you'll receive 35 to 1 for every chip you have bet. Red or black pays even odds. All inside bets are paid by the dealer, directly to you. It bounces among the slots and finally falls into one of the numbered slots. Incidentally, there are about 90 spins or games played per hour, on average. Run a ruler or any straight edge across the diagram and you will see that the O is opposite the 00, 1 is opposite the 2, and so on up to the 35 being directly opposite the 36.
